My name is Rebecca White, and I have dedicated the past 25 years of my career to working in adult and youth mental health and addiction services. Throughout this time, I've overseen treatment programs, provided counseling to youth and families, designed and implemented Indigenous mental health teams, and developed systems aimed at infusing dignity and connection into the realm of substance use.
I've come to Homecoming driven by a passion to assist families during the crucial transition period between treatment and returning home. My goal is to work closely with parents and caregivers, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of addiction.

I approach this work in a client-centered way, using a variety of modalities including EMDR and attachment-related approaches.

Addiction has had a profound impact on my own life. I grew up within its shadow, married into it, and currently participate in the Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA) program. This venture is a natural progression of my life experiences and everything I've learned through my clinical work. The period following treatment is particularly precarious, often marked by relapses. It can seem nearly impossible to navigate. I'm here to offer support to families on their healing journey, assisting them in their return home.
I’m Mark Kaiser, and my journey has been one of overcoming challenges & growth. With over six years of sobriety, I’ve experienced the power of change firsthand. Originally from Alberta, I moved to British Columbia after overcoming alcoholism, a decision that transformed my life.

My experience with addiction motivates me to help others navigate their own recovery, whether they’re struggling themselves or supporting someone they care about. My lived experience is a valuable asset in guiding those who are facing addiction today.
Fitness is a big part of my life, keeping me grounded and healthy while showing how wellness supports recovery. I also value the time I spend with close friends, who bring support and happiness into my life. These relationships remind me of the importance of connection and community in living a fulfilling life.

Addiction often takes a toll on important relationships, and I want to help you rebuild trust by overcoming addiction challenges. I also offer support and insight to those who have a loved one struggling with addiction.
